Born in Vancouver, Sandy has an eye for the richness of Nature. She picked up her first paint brush at around 3 years old and hasn’t really put it down since. She is constantly in the process of transferring to canvas or paper the awesome colours and beauties of form she sees in the world around her. Sandy has also travelled extensively, and her many experiences, memories, and photos continue to supply new ideas and subject matter for her often innovative, and ever-evolving art forms. She has been painting in acrylics for many years, and enjoys playing with oils, and dabbling with water colours. She has a passion for pet portraits and a flair for fabric painting. Sandy enjoys being a member of M.A.A. (Mission Artists Association) which supports her work to create more and dream bigger.
